Sunshine Community Health Center (SCHC) phones calls are transferred to an answering service from:
- 5pm – 9am, daily
- all day on Sundays
- for any other office closures
Patients calling SCHC will be prompted by the after-hours message on how to obtain the after-hours answering service.
Patients should NOT use the patient portal or secure messaging for urgent concerns after hours.
To comply with federal guidelines SCHC healthcare providers cannot respond in person to provide services at either office location after hours. Providers can assess and advise patients after hours by phone only.
