Early Childhood Services

Sunshine Community Health Center has offered Early Childhood Growth and Development services since 1996. Currently the services offered include free early childhood growth and development screenings for children 2 months- 5 years of age using the Ages and Stages model, and "Parents As Teachers" and "Zero to Three "curriculums, prenatal information, birth classes and parenting preparation, parenting consultation, post partum in home support, and "Happiest Baby on the Block" workshops as well as "Happiest Toddler On The Block" workshops.

We also work in an ongoing collaboration with Mat-Su Services for Children and Adults to coordinate car seat safety workshops for the upper Valley as well as offering in-home visitation via the Infant Learning Program to address children with significant developmental delays.
