Thanksgiving Holiday Closure

About the Event:

Sunshine Community Health Center will be closed on Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Thanksgiving is a time to pause, reflect, and give thanks—for the people, connections, and communities that support us every day. At Sunshine, we are especially grateful for the trust our patients place in us, the dedication of our staff, and the strength and resilience of the communities we serve across rural Alaska.

As a community health center, we are thankful for the opportunity to provide accessible, compassionate care, to partner with local organizations, and to be part of each individual’s health journey. It is a privilege we do not take lightly.

Planning Ahead:

We encourage patients and community members to plan ahead for appointments, prescription refills, and routine care needs prior to the holiday closure.
