As our board members’ terms end, we are enlisting potential new members. If you want to help improve the health and wellness of Mat-Su Alaskans, this is a terrific opportunity for you! We are looking for potential board members with expertise in long term planning, governance, risk management, finance, and health care quality.

Do you want to make a difference in your community? Board members provide the critical intellectual capital and strategic resources to power nonprofit success and strengthen communities. Each year hundreds of individuals dedicate their time and expertise to shape the future of nonprofit organizations in the Matanuska Susitna Valley through board service.

Are you able to devote at least 10-12 hours per month to board activities such as sub-committee meetings? Note special projects and/or travel could require more hours.
Are you available to meet on the first Thursday of each month at 4:00 PM?
Do you have immediate family members employed at Sunshine Community Health Center?
