Briana Pinero-Beach, MSW, who prefers to go by “Brie,” serves as a Behavioral Health Clinician I at Sunshine Community Health Center. In her role, Brie provides behavioral health care to students, supporting their emotional well-being, building coping skills, and helping them navigate challenges inside and outside of school. Her work directly supports SCHC’s mission, vision, and values by ensuring that youth in our community have access to the care, compassion, and resources they need to thrive.

Brie holds a Master of Social Work degree from North Carolina State University. She brings with her not only the knowledge gained through education but also a passion for helping others that has been a guiding force throughout her career. She joined SCHC seeking opportunities for growth, both professionally and personally, and has quickly become a valued part of the team.

Originally from the East Coast, Brie’s journey eventually brought her to Alaska, where she has planted roots with her wife and their four children. Outside of work, she leads an active lifestyle and has been passionate about softball since 2nd grade, a sport she played all the way through college. Today, she’s a dedicated member of both women’s and coed B league teams, filling her summers with competition, camaraderie, and fun.

In the winter months, the pace changes. Brie and her family prefer to spend time indoors, enjoying the slower rhythm that the Alaska cold often brings. Whether on the field, in the clinic, or at home, Brie’s warmth and dedication shine through, making her a wonderful example of the community-focused spirit at SCHC.

Her combination of professional expertise, lived experience, and deep care for the people she serves makes Brie an asset to our behavioral health team and a source of positive impact for the students she works with every day.
