KTNA Su-Valley Voice || October 2025

On behalf of Sunshine Community Health Center, thank you for joining us for this month’s episode of KTNA’s Su Valley Voice. We are grateful to KTNA for welcoming us onto the airwaves each month and for helping us strengthen communication, connection, and wellness across the Upper Susitna Valley.

For October, our conversation centered on immunizations and exciting program updates from our Behavioral Health Department. Our guests—Teri Schweitzer, Terri Gagne, Heather Barnes, and Licensed Practical Nurse Sara Heller—shared valuable insights and resources for community members of all ages.

October Health Focus: Immunizations

As we move into the fall season, staying current on vaccines is one of the best ways to protect yourself, your family, and the broader community. Nurse Sara Heller walked listeners through available vaccines and why seasonal immunizations remain an important part of preventive care.

Upcoming Vaccination Clinics:

  • October 20 — Talkeetna Clinic

  • October 24 — Willow Clinic

  • November 1 — Upper Susitna Community & Senior Center
