Medicaid Redetermination

Starting April 1, 2023, everybody who is on Medicaid (and Denali Kid Care and Denali care) is going to be reviewed by Medicaid.
This process of redetermination of benefits has been put on pause for the last 3 years due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Annual Redetermination of Benefits is now resuming and will take place over the course of one year. This process will be automatic, if Medicaid needs information updated, they will be contacting you.
The most important things to do now are:
Update your phone number and address by calling 833-441-1879.
Check your mail frequently for paperwork from Medicaid. If you receive a renewal form, get the information back to Medicaid ASAP.
If you get a Denial of Benefits letter:
Call 211 and they can assist you with other health coverage options.
There is also a process for appeal.
Please contact the Patient Advocate at your clinic or United Way (at 211) if you need assistance with any part of the process.
